Weekend Getaway near NYC?
Hi there, I rarely post and mostly lurk, but wondering if you ladies had any suggestions for a weekend trip in February or March?
DH worked all through the holidays (including Christmas and New Years) so we didn't get to go on vacation. I'm soooo antsy to get away. Any ideas to tie me over until the summer time?
We like good food, maybe a spa. Driving or flying is fine. More luxurious is preferable.

Last year week took long weekend trips to Vermont,?Montreal and DC. All of the places were great. ?You can also do a long weekend down the Jersey shore. There are some fun places to stay in Long Branch and LBI. Here are a few I want to try:

BusyBrideJMD, is LBI fun during the winter time as well? In high school, I used to go down every summer. That would be so nostalgic.
I agree. ?It would be quiet, but peaceful. ?There are also some B&B's that have cooking classes all weekend. That could be fun!?
