DH has been having problems with high heart rate and blood pressure. It started a few weeks ago all of a sudden, and now he's feeling worried enough to go see a doctor. I want to make sure he sees a doctor who's interested in finding the root cause of the problem rather than just giving him a prescription and shove him out the door. We're very open to natural and homeopathic remedies, but I don't know if there's a natural doctor in town that accepts Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
Do any of you have a recommendation for a good doctor that accepts Blue Cross/Blue Shield? TIA ladies!

Re: Doctor Recs
We really like our internist / gp who sees DH for his diabetes. Their office is so on top of things as well.
Dr. Gary Werntz at Red River Family Practice.
DH really liked Dr. Kevin Spencer at the South Austin Family Practice. A good friend is in pharmaceutical sales, and knows a lot of the doctors in town, and he recommended he use Dr. Spencer when he went for a routine physical. He really felt like the guy listened to him. I actually go see his wife at the same location. I just went the other day for allergies, and she was extremely thorough and even found something else that I should get checked out, that I normally would have no idea about.
They are pretty south (Westgate/Lamar), but worth the hike. Good luck!
