Hey ladies. I know it's been incredibly too long but I have to lay super low here at work these days. My office got moved to directly across the hall from one of the big wigs because I am now their right hand woman. Just thought I'd check in with you ladies though.
First, Gerrie. You are the most amazing woman I have ever "met". Coming from a long family line of cancer survivors (and a few who've lost their fight), you have all my blessings I could possibly give. Don't let it get you down and stay as strong as I know you are.
Second, congratulations to the new mommies out there! And to the recently pregnant ladies. You're in for a whirlwind.
Third, an update on me. My husband got laid off, again, in August and we're going on month 6 of no luck with a job. The plus side is Cale gets to spend awesome quality time with his daddy. And of course, you all know the negative side. Cale is almost 7 months old (already!) and is huge. He's a little over 18 pounds and is 28 inches long. He has 2 teeth on the bottom too. He's rolling all around and on the verge of crawling (he rocks when he's on his belly). Cameron (SS) is 8 years old (already!) and just finished up his first year playing football. He plays right tackle on defense and is a machine! We think he's found his calling. He started all year, even though there were kids that have been playing for a lot longer than he has. As for me, pretty much the same to report.
Anyhow, just wanted to drop in and say hey and explain my absence. I do check in when I get a chance, but don't usually get the opportunity to post. I miss you guys terribly though.
Re: ::Remember me?::
Hi there! Welcome back. Boo to your H's job situation, hopefully something will come through soon, but yes, at least his time at home is not wasted with Cale!
Hope you make it to post more often! Good luck!
Hey Stranger,
Good to hear that things are going well and that Cale is big and healthy. No worries about the job, things will work out for you I am sure.
Thanks for your sweet words. Life has been up and down to say the least
