All schools, and a ton of businesses in the area are closed due to the ice storm/snow. I'm gonna sit at home all day, vegging in front of the tv.
Re: Yay for snow days!!
We have about 6", but it's still snowing. We actually have another snow day tomorrow. I'm not very excited about that one, though, because we only had one designated snow day. Now we're gonna have to make up the extra day by going to school over President's Day. Oh, well, better safe than sorry.
On a side note, the snow was excellent for business. I worked with Keith at the store all day, and we didn't slow down once. Even when we told people that the delivery time was anywhere between 1.5 - 2hrs, they accepted it without complaining. Snow = good business, because no one wants to cook or leave their house.
This also happened to one of my CW's. What a bummer!
Yeah, I don't know what it is about snow, but we always get slammed when we have some. I spent all day today at the store again. We were so busy today that there were quite a few times when we had to disconnect the phone lines until we got caught up with all the orders.
Flame, it stinks that you had to wait for the train.
