So we've made it to the much anticipated weekend. The boards have been slow this week. So lets cross our fingers that this livens things up!
What are everyones plans?!?

Re: Weekend. . .
Julie works on Saturday. So I will spend the day cleaning, taking care of the pup, and doing laundry. Maybe I will pop in a movie, and eat some cheese and crackers. (I've had this serious craving for cheese, and crackers).
Sunday, Julie and I will go to church. Have brunch, and take a nap.
Everything in between is still up in the air.
Car shopping maybe?
it's been crazy here! i'm so ready for the weekend. c is working tonight, so i'm on my own. i may see what my sister is up to, but i might just take some alone time for myself to hang out at home and get some laundry done.
c's best friend (and possibly her husband) is tentatively coming into town tomorrow to spend the night and hang out. we don't get to see them as often as we'd like, so i'm really looking forward to it. i think she might want to go get tattooed while she's here, which is always fun. i've been wanting another one for a while. hmmm...
our weekend is pretty boring as it stands. S is going out to dinner with friends tonight so I am going it alone. My weekend starts very soon though in 8 min to be exact. I have last period free so I am leaving early and getting a jump start on my nap. I have also been neglecting facebook since i can't get on at school (darned kids ruin everything) so I may go poke around and answer some messages.
Sat we may go for a hike with a friend and then I need to do some work.
Sunday S starts her b-ball league and then we are going to see my parents so my mum will get off my back about neglecting her. Oh mothers!
Other than that not much else.
We have a crazy busy weekend coming up!
Tonight: we're going to put the first coat of paint on the guest bedroom walls.
Saturday: I'm getting up bright and early to head out for my 18 mile walk, then we are hopefully going to be getting the second coat of paint up.
Sunday: Again I'll be up at the ass-crack of dawn to do 15 miles (my most intense weekend yet, mileage wise), then quickly heading back to our place to get shower and dressed for the Eagles vs Steelers game, which we have tickets to!
I'm not looking forward to the lack of sleep I'll be getting... especially since Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday I'll be the on-site point person for a conference we're running... which will make for long days. BUT it should be fun, and with paint done we'll be one step closer to having our guest bedroom finished.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD

Tomorrow will be busy for me. I have a meeting with my co-chair for the board position for our local doula organization. Unfortunately it's from 8-10am, on Saturday. Not fun. Then I have a meeting with my fellow UU Kindergarten teachers. Did I mention I'm teaching kindergarten at my uu church this year? So exciting! After that I'm doing childcare for 3-4 hours for a great family with two adorable girls. Once I'm done will all those things, C and I will spend a few hours together and then she has a photography gig in the evening.
Sunday is Homecoming at my UU church and then in the afternoon I may go to a talk by a woman named Caitlin Ryan, an academic who started this: http://familyproject.sfsu.edu/. I'm going to be involved with two organizations that work on LGBTQ youth issues, schooling, etc. So it could be really cool to go to this.
Hopeully then C and I will spend a relaxing evening together.
LOL, oh yes!!!!
I'm so psyched, Trav has finally gotten to the point where he is talking about how we're going to be having kids soon... and how he can't wait until we start trying. It's huge considering how long it took him to get here.

Tonight we're having dinner with a friend.
Tomorrow and Sunday it's nose to the grindstone time! We have to get this place ready for C's parents next weekend!!! We have shelves and pictures to hang, painting to do in the bathroom and all sorts of other chores. But I'm actually really looking forward to it all because I can't wait to sit back and admire our work in the end :-)

No plans tonight, since Thursday is the new Friday... I am far too tired to do anything productive tonight!
Tomorrow is game day. I am a football freak! LSU! Geaux Tigers! (for you yankees, that is pronounced as GO TIGERS) No tailgating because it is an away game, but football party at a friend's house.
Sunday will be a day of chores... blah.
Tomorrow the rescue group we got our dogs through has a big fair called puptoberfest. We will be spending the morning there with the dogs. Carol has told me since we are bringing home a baby next year I can't bring any more dogs home this year.
