G'morning gals!

It's finally Friday!

I have been SO ready for this work week to be over.  Tonight M and I have a "date" night (though, we never refer to it as that), we're going to our usual TGIF's (but I'm staying clear of any alcohol tonight) and then we'll pop over to see a movie, we're thinking about Legion, but dunno yet.

Tomorrow we're meeting with the Realtor at 2pm.  Two of the houses I had on my list are now off because I didn't like the info I read about them on Trulia (they were the last two I posted links on yesterday, not the one in NH though).  The brown one apparently has severe damage from freeze and water in it and almost all the pipes are broken, it's a foreclosure home, so that's a no go and the white ranch in G-land was "priced to sell" and "selling as is" which Lord only knows what that means so we aren't even gonna give that one a look see.  I am completely and utterly in LOVE with the one in NH though (that one with the huge kitchen).  I found out on Trulia though that that one is contingient but hopefully we can still look at it as the people who made the offer have yet to sell their house.

Sunday we have no plans as of yet, I'm sure that will all depend on what does on with the realtor, maybe if we don't get to look at houses on Saturday we can do so on Sunday, who knows.

  • Booo. I thought the price might be too good to be true for the brown house. Dangit.

This weekend I don't have a lot of set plans yet. Tonight I'm going out to dinner with my work wife. Apparently we're going to the best burger place ever. I'm intrigued.

Tomorrow, I'm hopefully going to be getting a massage. There's a place in J's old neighborhood that takes walk-ins and it's supposed to be really good. Now I need to decide between the Tui Na massage and the Qi Gong.

Otherwise, my only other plan is to kind of watch the pro-bowl.

  • Yes, def good luck house hunting!!! Sounds like our Novembies need it!

Fri-prob clean...zzz... work out (Yah! Lost 1 1/2 lbs this week, but I've been doing some major working out, so...) or poss go to a comedy club w DH or cards w the neighbors...

Sat-work.  work out-if I don't on Fri... go out to a bday dinner w some gal pals I haven't seen for a while...

Sun-crash and burn. sleep in! (sleeping in means 8:30 at the latest...) Maybe work on taking the finish off those chairs I just won... or reupholster the seat cushions... or both!  oh, and work out...

  • Sheri I must have missed your post about your house hunting!! GL to you and DH!!

Fri- Tonight DH and I are going to try and take my parents out, if my mother will go. She's so parinoid(sp?) about the weather(Freezing Rain). If she won't go I hope DH and I can go see a movie or something.

Sat- We're cleaning out our attic and getting rid of tons of just junk. DH said if we haven't used it in 6 months it's going to the Salvation Army or the trash. I guess we're spring cleaning alittle early. Then I hope we might get to see a movie if we don't tonight.

Sunday- Church, wash clothes, nap, the usual

  • Morning girls!!!

Sheri...You will see a lot of bank owned homes that say "as-is", Our house said "as-is" yet we were able to get a few things fixed....If A hosue isnt in FHA condition, then the seller wont be able to accept any FHA offers because they have to meet certain standards...So I wouldnt totally write off houses that are as-is, because banks down make money on properties they own until the sell. So you may even find it works to your advantage ;)

    My weekend is looking fun!

Tonight the DH and I are riding thelight rail out to a bar for my ex's bday! (the ex that is married to our realestate agent) It should be fun times!

Tomorrow I am going wedding dress shopping with a good friend! I am super excited! Then I will come home and work on my china hutch! Later that night DH is having some of his man friends over to have a jam session! Im excited, DH and his friends are all very very tallented singers and musicians! DH will most likely get laid, as when he sings it totally turns me on! (think harry conick jr, michael buble type voice!! **swoon**)

Sunday I will hopefully finish my china hutch! We shall see. Also my Sdad is coming over and installing our new stove/oven range! I will have 2 ovens now! I am THRILLLLLLED!

  • Good luck house hunting Sheri!

Tonight - Just a chill night in with DH

Tomorrow- Suppose to go skiing but now going indoor rock climbing because of the temps.

    Sunday - Cleaning and laundry

  • That was the other issue with it I had, it was not FHA approved.

Yeah well there ya go then....

We fell in love with a house and it was our #1 pick, but it wouldnt go FHA :( we were sad, but in a way, FHA loans protect first time home buyer from getting in over their head with a house that might be a money pit. Good luck lady! You will find the right one!

  • Good Morning everyone! (still morning here)

Today: Grabbing lunch w/DH, buying a b-day gift, looking for something to wear tonight, and getting a manicure.

Tonight: Going to a B-Day dinner for our friend who's turning 30. I was super excited about this until they didn't give DH the night off so I have to go solo. I mean, it will still be super fun, but there will be mostly couples there. It's a good thing the B-Day girl likes to dance and her DH doesn't so we get to dance together :)

Saturday: Depends on how much of a hangover I have....j/k  We MUST do laundry and clean up a little, then we will reward ourselves with a date night since DH is missing out tonight.

Sunday: Church, chill, maybe catch the Pro-Bowl.

  • Sheri- Good luck house hunting!

Tonight- girls' night out with some friends.  Going out to dinner and seeing a movie.

Tomorrow- nothing planned.  Maybe I'll clean...I've been meaning to do a big clean of the house for the past few weekends and never got around to it.

Sunday- grocery shopping, relaxing around the house

    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Tonight - visiting hours for our friend that passed away this week.  She was a dispatcher for one of the local fire depts and at the end of visiting hours they are doing the "Last Call" ceremony.  I plan to bring alot of kleenex.  Right now I am taking a break from doing my homework and laundry.

Sat. - P is off work, I have to go pick up my car from the mechanic.  I think we'll finish up the insulation in the attic and possibly go out to dinner and the bookstore if it's not frigid out.

Sun. - P is going to a friends for the night and I am working on homework all day.

  • Good luck, Sheri.  Let the hunting be a fun experience.  Looking at other houses is so interesting.

Tonight - cleaning the house, resting, getting healthy

Tomorrow - MIL and her boyfriend are coming over so that he can fix J's starter.

Sunday - Looking at Mesa Alta, otherwise chillaxing
