I haven't posted in a while- but have somewhat of a rant/worry.

 Snakes. I hate them.

I live in Austin- last October my dog was bit by a baby rattler and it was terrible (both emotionally and financially). It's the end of January and I'm already stressed by the thought of snakes becoming less and less dormant as the weather slowly becomes warmer and warmer.

I hate snakes.

    Yeah, and I was just thinking yesterday about how there haven't been any scorpions in our house all winter.  Snakes and scorpions are just awful.

    I've always lived far enough into town that those aren't a problem for me. Now that I'm in Georgetown, and it's raining, our issue/concern is mice. YUCK!!!
    We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

    Well I don't live in Austin- Austin (only you two would probably know where Kyle is). Anyways it definitely doesn't help that there is a lot of construction/development in our newer neighborhood so everything is coming out from there crevices. 

     I've never seen a scorpion... yet. I have seen a black window on our lawn chairs though. Gross. We have that home team pest defense come and spray around our house once every three months but towards the end of the cycle- the fire ants and spiders start to come back.

    I wish my landlord agreed! He's yet to do anything about them. We can't even use one cabinet in our tiny kitchen because it's apparent that's where there are mostly. :(

    Yikes... can you just put out poisin?  We always put a box of d-con in the garage and have never had a mouse.  At work they won't let us put out poisin and we always have mice.  This year has been better than most because the Orkin guy comes once a month but I've still had 3 of them in my office.

    Scorpions...snakes.... spiders...mice.  Eww.  We get spiders in the house here in the fall but thats about it.  I would DIE if I saw any scorpions or black widow's in my house!
