Happy Friday! It's sunny here, but we do have some frigid temps. I hope everyone affected by the storm stays safe! We're sans my step-sons this weekend. Tonight we're staying in and having Raclette for dinner. So yummy, we haven't had it in a while. And tomorrow night, we're meeting up with friends for a friend's birthday. Otherwise, we'll be keeping warm at home and probably working on a few things around the house.

It's freezing here, too! It's currently 18 and windy, but I'm not sure of the "feels like" temp with wind chill.
Me & DH are going to the Sixers-Lakers game tonight so that should be fun. This is now my second sporting event that I'm going to PG and it's still pretty weird to me to not have an intent to tailgate.

It's -2 here w/o windchill. Ouch.
I'm thinking we're staying in alllll weekend. I have absolutely no voice, and I have a feeling I'll be leaving work early for that. I can't exactly teach a classroom full of 30 kids when all I can do is whisper. I'll go to the doc. this afternoon, and I'm sure he'll tell me there's nothing he can do, but at least my coworkers will stop pestering me about going!
It's 16 in NYC (since we're all weather-reporting)!

We'll be home this weekend - having a cake tomorrow for Peter for passing his Plumber's Exam. It was supposed to be just a couple of us and now there's 30 people coming.... our big fat Greek and Italian families...

I actually think that I am going to leave work early today. I put all of my stuff to do on my thumb drive and I just work much more productively from home. I also have a ton of things that I could be doing that don't involve me being here!
We are doing nothing this weekend. One of my errands today is to stock-up at the grocery store so we don't have to leave the house. I'm thinking homemade chicken & dumplins for tomorrow - we need "stick to your ribs" meals to accompany this cold a$$ weather!

Tonight DH is making semi-homemade Chinese food...the semi being some of the meal is from Trader Joe's
Tomorrow is one fo my best friends birthday so we'll be getting silly at her apartment. She is OBSESSED with Twilight so I had another friend of a friend make her a Twilight cake. Even though I'm not a fan of Twilight I cannot wait to see what she comes up with for the cake. I'll post a pic tomorrow or Sunday. Sunday I'll be helping DH study for his first EMT test that's on Monday.
It was 63 here yesterday and now they are prediciting a crazy winter storm. Boooo - bring on summer!
So my weekend is going to consist of mostly nothing! I did buy ingrediants to make crab soup and key lime pie. Maybe I should send DH after some coconut rum. Hmmmm.
We're at about 50 and cloudy. It's been soooo warm here this winter. Wednesday it was 55 and sunny and I felt compelled to work in the yard!
We finally have a weekend where we have no plans! Well, except to go spend some gift cards we got at our AHR. But, no obligations....it feels so good! 4pm can't get here fast enough (it's only 9:45a...lol)!!

DH and I are going to dinner tonight to celebrate his great work review he got yesterday. His company had their best year ever in '09 which will most likely be reflected in raises and bonuses - and is great news for his job stability in the future. We are so thankful and relieved to hear this
We are are doing our taxes tomorrow and the rest of the weekend will be filled with a bunch of rest and relaxation at home!
