I finally gave into MH and agreed we could get another trash compactor instead of putting something else in the compactors place. I'm ordering my new ovens today (I went last weekend but, long story short, the people at Lowes did not believe in my ability to a: use a measuring tape correctly and b: find the seriel number of my original double ovens for them to compare sizes with the one I want so I had to wait for a Lowes guy to come measure today). So, should I go ahead and get the compactor too?
Re: Suggestions?
Paula: There are probably a few things on our "list" that are higher than the compactor but probably not many. And really not anything that we can't afford in addition to the compactor, I'm just type A when it comes to money...haha.
I still can't believe Lowes made me pay that guy to come and take the EXACT same measurements I took.
This is what I thought, which again,... is there really a reason NOT to just get it? If I know you, Mandy, you wouldn't even consider it if you weren't fairly comfortable financially even after having paid for it.
They aren't running that but we get 10% off because DH was military. I ended up not ordering it because there was a lot going on (people were freaking out because of snow and they couldn't get me out of there fast enough because they were planning on cutting most of the staff). anyway, in good news, I got my money back for the guys coming to measure since they took SO freaking long and I didn't want Lowes to install the oven anyway. Plus, my friend who is a manager gave me 0% for 12 months (instead of 6).
