If you could change one decision in your life...
...what would it be and why?
Re: If you could change one decision in your life...
I would have taken school more seriously.
edit: Forgot to say "why" - I messed around a lot in school and never got a degree. It's almost impossible to find a good job without a degree now, and DH & I wish we could move out of CA.
I would not have gotten married when I was 20. I can't tell you how much I wish this wedding/ marriage was going to be my one and only. I also truly belive that if I had not gotten married young then I would have stuck with school and gotten a degree.

this. if one thing had been changed in my past i would not be where i am now, married to DH. i am really happy in my life. so despite things that may not have gone the way i wanted them to, i have no regrets.
THIS
I couldn't have said it better myself!!
Mine would have been to leave my purse at home the day it got stolen. I took our dog to the park and hid my purse under my jacket in the car and someone must have been watching. I only took her on a 10 minute walk and it some a*hole broke into my car and stole my brand new purse.
Maria, I'm w/ you and Tammy on this, I am where I am in life because of the decisions I've made. Hopefully I will learn from that bad ones, like wasting $ on stupid things and not taking school more seriously, - I feel like this is a common theme for a bunch of us. Hopefully we can all learn/remember...
However, I will say having bangs during the years of 1998-approx 2001, was a very bad decision. In fact using the hair stylist I used during that time was just plain stupid.I would take this back in a heartbeat. Why oh why did I not meet Christoper (my current stylist earlier)?????

I would have insisted on a follow-up appointment when they found a "small unknown mass" in my uterus during a cyst ultrasound when I was 15. Would have saved me a lot of time and hassle now!
And I don't think this change would have done anything to affect how my life is today except there's be a baby in it somewhere. My future would be much different, but my past would still have me where I am today.
This. I wish that I had been better with money earlier on. Had I started saving 10 years ago the way I do now, we would be in much better financial shape.
