I'm freaking out over here...
This morning I had my ultrasound to look for cysts. I've never had an ultrasound before and I was watching the screen as she did her work taking pictures and all that. The whole time I was thinking I really have no idea what I'm looking at. So now I'm home and decided to google image ovarian cysts. Bad idea. After looking at a few I started to freak out. When I was at the doctors looking at the screen all I could make out were these black round blobs she was taking pictures of. I assumed these were my ovaries since she took pictures on my right and left side and then there was a big black blob that I assumed was my uterus...except that from the ultrasound pictures I saw online...I don't think those were organs at all! The ultrasound tech said my doctor should get the results by Tuesday at the latest. They have to send the images over to the hospital to be read and then have them sent back, so that's why it will take so long. I think I'm going to lose my mind by then!

I agree with Jenni! Stop looking on the internet, for your own sanity. My dad had a melanoma several years ago and my mom nearly gave herself a panic attack when she started looking up melanoma information online. The internet is evil when it comes to this stuff!!
Just try to stay calm & not stressed until you get your results.
**healthy vibes** for you!
edit: Plus the internet seems to be full of worst-case scenarios, and chances are you are looking at information that doesn't pertain to you. That's what happened with my dads melanoma - the stuff my mom was looking at was much worse than what he actually had. Sooo... just stay away from Google and medical information for a while.
This exactly! GL but really I wouldn't worry too much. Most women have cysts. I just found out I do last year when I had a CAT Scan for something else. Then I had a sonogram and everything was fine with them.

I would have done the same thing you did - curiosity always gets me. But I hope everything is fine and that you receive good news on Tuesday about your ultrasound.
