New Mod Contest on The Knot
We haven?t done this in awhile so let?s have a new mod contest. Now that we?ve launched the new profiles, let?s have a contest for best moderator profile. I had fun making mine (feel free to make fun of my wedding pics from 2003), so this is really not ?work?. I?ll pick one on Feb 1st. This will give you a week to upload pics and pimp it out. Post below if you have participated.

I have been working on mine. At first it was a little tricky in the look book to get my pics to show. I also cannot figure out how to get my pics next to & in different areas of my profile--but I am sure I will get it!!

A couple of questions about the new bios I noticed while working on it:
1) It says for the content at the bottom that there will be other layouts available soon. Do we know when that will be?
2) For the pictures that go in the bottom content (of ones you have uploaded), you can only currently choose 5. Will it be possible in the future to choose more? I have so many I want to display!
3) I am a little confused about the inspiration boards. Will they show up on our profiles? Do we keep those private? I was having quite a bit of trouble accessing and getting the layouts to work; it was taking forever to load and I finally moved on to something else.
4) I agree with PP about putting our own pictures in the look book- there are things I have already (like my dress) that the knot doesn't have in it's inspiration photos. Is there a way if we upload and tag our own that we can add them to the look book somehow?
5) For uploaded pictures, I would love to be able to sort mine into albums- reception hall and ideas, details, hair and makeup, attire, etc.
6) I noticed on uploaded photos you can tag them. What exactly does tagging do to them? If it helps someone else out by them being able to look at my photos, I am all for it!
7) Can we please add more colors to the color choices? Baby Blue is not very close to Cobalt. Also, is there a way to possibly add an "accent color" choice?
8) Finally, a place to do vendor reviews and such would be fantastic. I know that is one of the biggest reasons girls go to other sites to make bios- so they can tell local brides who did and didn't work their special day!
Overall, I am really happy with how the bios turned out- much more user friendly overall than before! I didn't have a bio formally because I couldn't figure it out, but I have one now!

3) these are now being associated w/ your user name, but like we said, they are still in beta.
4) we will have seperate look books that you are able to upload all of your own photos, but that's in the future.

6) this goes into our new community photo gallery. i don't know if you remember the old one, but it was not so great. at all. this one is awesome and pulls in photos from my real wedding, community and you are able to tag and then search by all of the tags. we'll be adding new tags like gtgs, so i'd love to hear your suggestions.
7) new colors are launching with rounds 2.0. a must, i agree!
8) also, this will be something coming in the future. this year most likely. great ideas!

I figured out how to save wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses to the look book, but how do you do it with cakes and stuff. I couldn't find that option.
