Albany Real Estate Recs
Husband and I have started to look around- and by that, I mean internet stalk- some possible homes. Anyone have experience (positive or negative!) with buyers agents in the Albany area?
How about mortgage lenders? We're going to one of those homeowner workshops Tuesday night, I'm excited to learn more and get some real-life guidance (not just from Google)

We used Mary Kearney from Realty USA. She's out of their Clifton Park office I think. She is a wonderful person and was a very helpful agent. She's not a buyers agent exclusively, but worked with us and did a fantastic job.
We shopped around for our mortgage and went with who gave us the best deal. It was not a big broker at the time, but things could have changed a lot with mortgages (rates, approvals etc) in the last two years.

Thanks for the recs ladies! I've been house-stalking since I was about 16 and my mom and I would wander through local open houses for fun. She set a BAD example, I've intermittently scoped the internet for the past decade
