follow up GD test tomorrow morning
You know, the part I'm looking forward to the least is that I have to be at the pathologist at 7-freaking-30 in the morning. Ugh! Who comes up with these tests! I also have to hold my pee until then which should be fun.
ETA: Well, they told me they'd need the first morning pee, which I'm assuming means I can still get up to go in the middle of the night, right? I'm hoping so, because otherwise I don't think I'll make it...
Re: follow up GD test tomorrow morning
I say that you can get up in the middle of the night to pee. Just hold onto the first morning pee hon.
I know you're not expecting different results but g'luck!
Thanks Tina! Based on how my body has been reacting to this diet for the last 3 days (I feel good immediately after a meal followed swiftly by lethargy and exhaustion to the point of needing a nap), I'm definitely not expecting different results...but it would still be awesome if the first test was just a fluke!
Sending you positive vibes...I hope you pass with flying colors. If not, i'm here to cheer you on...GD isn't as horrible as I feared it would be and compared to other "complications" of pregnancy I consider it pretty low on the totem pole. There's a check-in group on the High Risk Pregnancy Board (TB) called "Sugar Mamas" and they are incredibly supportive. I think one is also carrying twins.
Oh...the one good thing about the early call is that you'll be ravenous afterwards and at least it won't be 10 a.m. or something! Good luck!

LOL well I will be ravenous but it will be 10am or so...the test lasts for 2 hours, so it will be at least 9.30 (but probably more like 9.45-10am) by the time it's done.
Thanks for the good wishes, ladies!
