What are some products you use for your face during the winter? I'm not used to combating dry skin and thought it might be time to rethink part of my usual routine. TIA!
Re: Winter Face Care
I use a garnier moisturizer with a pump everyday. But in the winter, I look for one that is a little thicker. Right now, I'm using a L'oreal advanced revitalift...not for the wrinkle fighter (though I'm sure it doesn't hurt) but because it is thicker and better for dry skin. In the winter, look for one without a pump because they are thinner.
I hope that helps.

I love Proactiv, but it can really dry out my skin. For the most part, I just use the cleanser during the winter and moisturize with Vaseline Intensive Care. Moving from Louisiana (the rainforest when it comes to humidity) to New Mexico (the desert) has stressed out my skin a lot, but it seems to work pretty well for me.
I was actually thinking of trying something new (with sunscreen) when I finish the products I have now, so thanks for asking this question!
Overnight moisturizing helps a lot too. I've used an SPF face lotion of some sort every morning for as long as I can remember, and I used to switch to a heavier one for winter. Since adding a night cream after washing my face before bed, I haven't had to switch between seasons. You wouldn't need a fancy one, just something friendly to your skin that can sink in overnight.
The same principle also works for dry skin in other places. I used to get dry hands in the winter, but hand lotion every night got rid of that too.

I don't mind the scent of the Clean & Clear, but I do only put mine on at night and then go right to sleep, so maybe it's just that I don't really smell it long enough for it to bother me.
