Opinions from all... do you think it would be better to fly direct for 6 hours with a one-year-old or have at least one stop even though that will make the whole travel day 8 hours? Thoughts? [Poll]
Re: Travelling with a baby
i would be concerned with the take off and landing - i voted for non-stop because then you only have to go through it once.
oh, and i think you are mistaken, the trip to FL is only 2 hours and 20 minutes non-stop...so you'll be fine.
I think you should do a straight flight. It might be easier to just do it all at once. Hopefully he will sleep some of the trip. Less chance of his ears getting plugged twice from the take off and landing. Pack him a new toy for the trip. That should help a little. Will he watch movies? Portable dvd player. Lots of snacks!
Whenever Baby Sharpie is ready to meet Mickey Mouse we will be on the next plane!
