First - we registered for the Chicago Marathon this morning! I'm so excited! It'll be Mike's first...I wish I could cut like 2 hours off my finish time so I can stick with him and see how he handles it. He said he's already scared, but I think he'll be fine. Sooo, Chicago girls...I'm going to be threre Oct 8-14. I hesitate to GTG that Saturday night since it's the night before the race, but any other night is open!
And second - we went with our friends on Sat to do their ground breaking for their new house. This is the subdivision that we were seriously considering about a month ago, but chickened out on b/c I didn't think we could sell our condo. We started talking to the builder and he took us through the two floorplans that we liked...now his FI (who's a realtor) is going to come see our condo, kind of decide whether or not we can sell and for how much. She sounded really positive about the ability to sell it...and she was there accepting an offer for someone else's house that sold in 6 days for full asking price. I know that doesn't happen all the time, but I feel a little better about maybe not staying in the condo till we're 90. She's going to do some research on the current listings and then set something up to come take a look. I'm going to call the bank sometime today to see about getting pre-approved. I really hope this works out!

... I had planned to drive down to Chicago and meet up if we could, but we are about 75% sure we'll be going somewhere the week before (meaning Paula = out of vacation.)
