Eye Opening House Hunting

Well if we didn't have an eye opening day with a new realtor.  My lender has been recommending a realtor to us.  I have turned him down because we already had a realtor.  We have put in about 10 offers and they are all denied.  Some really good offers too.  We went out with the new realtor today. WOW she was awesome!  We educated us sooo much.  We explained what we had been doing the past with our realtor and offers.  She then explained why our offers weren't ever countered and always denied.

Neither of us have bought a home before, so we are clueless on a lot of things.  We were out with her for about 3 hours and she spent so much time talking to us. It was so great!  I have hope again.  I was really starting to feel defeated. Light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!

    Having a good realtor is important! When we started house hunting, we went with this well known realtor in our area.. only she was always "too busy" to take us to look at houses so she sent us with her assistant. He was a nice guy but didn't really give us much insight... then I found out my friends mom was a realtor... man was she awesome.. she told us what to look for in a house and helped educate us on what we need to think about for the future as far as renovations and selling. Made all the difference!

    maybe you guys should go on My First Place? that would be so cool! :) i'm glad you found somebody who gets you and helps you understand the housing market. here's hoping you get a home sooner rather than later!

    Thats awesome! Its def important to really 'click' with your realtor. I loved ours. And I'm actually upset the whole process is over lol. cause I liked seeing houses with her.
