Mexican Vacation Locations
Where've you been? Your review?
We're looking to go away the first week of October and Mexico seems the likely option. Of course, that still leaves us with countless options. Neither of us have been there before, so we're not sure where the best option is for us to have a fairly relaxing vacation while having an option to do something after the second or third day laying around when we are starting to get stircrazy.
TIA
Re: Mexican Vacation Locations
We went to Rivera Maya on our honeymoon. Our resort had a shuttle bus (operated by the hotel) every hour that dropped off and picked us up from Playa Del Carmen. We also went to the Mayen Ruins.
I think there are some pictures on my FB page if you want to see it.

We've been to Nuevo Vallarta (you fly into Puerto Vallarta and it's just north of the city) 3 times now. My grandparents have a timeshare there which is why we keep going back. It's at the Grand Mayan Resort which is amazing! It's not all inclusive though but they have great pools and lots of activities you can do outside the resort (we've done a whale watching booze cruise). The only bad thing about Puerto Vallarta is that the beaches aren't the best...they are very rocky.
My SIL has been to Cabo and loved it. If you'd like me to check what resort she stayed at I'd be happy to.
