waaaahoo. So glad to have that done. Filed online and now I'm patiently awaiting my refund!!! whoot.
Too bad it's all going straight to savings and I won't see a dime of it for a long time. Thinking long term is good... but not fun when I can think of all the pretty things I could buy with this surprise money.

I did them yesterday! We got a nice surprise, too. DH's withholdings were screwed up most of the year so we thought we'd have to pay. Nope! I didn't count on the deductions, so we'll get some back. Whoo-hoo!

I'm a believer that you should get one small splurge thing if everything else goes in to savings. There has to be some fun and rewards somewhere.

i always wondered... are there advantages to filing separately? i tried looking up the differences online, and i couldn't find any benefits - at least that apply to me.
