I can't even believe you are almost 35 weeks!! Are you ready??
How exciting!
Re: .::Shoe::.
I'm kind of refusing to believe it myself. LOL! I guess we're ready. Physically we are. We've got all the necessities to bring a baby home (and then some). I'm still pretty nervous about labor itself. I think once my Dr and I have a nice long chat about delivery at my appointment next week I'll feel better. It's more the fear of the unknown. My mom is going to be with me in the delivery room (she's an OB nurse so she does this every day) so I feel much better about that. I know she won't let anything bad happen to me or the babe. No clue why that worries me as I am madly in love with my OB but it has crossed my mind.
MrShoe is a nervous wreck already so I'm a little worried about how he will handle this. Guess I'll find out soon enough!
Does anyone have any stellar advice for me?
::hyperventilates into brown paper bag::
Why no, Tiger. I had not realized that until you pointed it out!
Does he have a coach of sorts? Any friends who have recently gone through this that he might be able to get some pointers from? Is he able to pin point what he is actually nervous about? Is it the birth, going in as two and coming out as three, etc?
Nope. We're the first in his group of friends to have a baby. The rest of them are barely in committed relationships much less parents (that we know of anyway). He's nervous about everything involving labor and delivery. But not about bringing the baby home and caring for it.
it's just oh so exciting!!!! sorry to make you hyperventilate!
LOL, that's ok. I'm pretty excited too.
That is awesome that your mom is an OB nurse! That has to make you feel a lot better. I bet MrShoe will do great once it all starts to happen. It's amazing how the nurses seem to put you at ease about what is going on. (Usually....lol!)
It is so exciting! Try to enjoy every minute of it. I can't wait to find out what you are having!!
I can't believe it is so close! I feel like you just announced it to the board. The time is flying by!
I'm sure once he is in the L&D, MrShoe will do swimmingly. He will be an awesome support!
He's pretty awesome already so I'm sure he'll be fine. I've already warned him that if he tries to be comforting and I respond with "fvck off" that he really shouldn't take it personally.
