AW: Picaboo wedding album

I was inspired by Future.Mrs.Shawty's post of her MyPublisher wedding album, so I thought I'd also post a link to the album I did (for our parents) with Picaboo.

I really liked Picaboo's software and the books are so nice!  I also used MyPublisher for our photo guest book and loved that as well!

Oh, and still trying to get our photographer's professional album back (thats been quite the fiasco) but honestly, I'd be happy getting my money back and just ordering another one of these books that I did.

  • I LOVE IT!  I wish MP did the 2page spread like you have on pgs 21 and 22 (or is it 20 and 21?).  Anyway - that's awesome!  What did you pay for the book??  Are the prices comparible to MP?
  • I love it! Great job! I need to get on making mine... I'm such a slacker...
  • I loved Picaboo too!  I used them for our photo guestbook and I want to get an album from there someday when we have the extra cash.  :) I love the flat fold ones, but they're so expensive!

Thanks!  And actually they don't do those 2 page spreads-I just had to basically crop my picture into 2 and put as full pages until they met up.  And I think the prices are comparable-I paid around $60-70, but got them when it was a buy one get one which was great.

I love the flat folds too.  That is what I'm supposed to be getting from my photographer (if I ever do!)  But it isn't nearly as big as this book or include as many pix.

  • Looks great!! I kind of wish I could get a refund from my photographer too and just do my own. I designed a parent album on Blurb and loved it. Then I wasn't happy with the photographer's first design so I asked him to go back and correct some stuff... oh well...I deserve to be satisfied if I'm the one who will be displaying it, right?! :)

Yeah thats how i feel.  I haven't gotten mine yet, but I did see the pages he designed.  I was not happy with them (for the most part) but he also decided to switch up books so it isn't what I was expecting.  I guess its still a layflat book and much better quality & able to have 2 page spreads, but it has less pages/images.  So I've been really unhappy with him & the whole thing.

But I also gave him lots of corrections to make, but still haven't heard back or seen the revisions.  What a headache!

  • We made one for my parents for Christmas with Shutterfly and they loved it. It wasn't a flat fold but it looked great. One day I am going to make one of all the abandonded houses we've found.
