I pulled a dog out of a high kill shelter yesterday- he's a senior (8 plus years old) and I will start crate training him today. He would have nothing to do with it yesterday so I will let you know what works- I'm going to do my method, but he's so much older than my other fosters so we'll see!

Thanks! That is definite progress. Mine barked his head off all night until DH let him out. I don't even think he *needs* a crate, but I'm going to train him anyway, just so he at least eats and goes in there if we have people over.
He has 3 legs. He's so cute. I'm not naming him until he gets blood work and the growth on his belly checked out this afternoon.
Okay. He's a border collie. He's not in the best shape, but I need to take pix for progress anyway. He is getting groomed this morning then we go to the vet for his blood work so I will take one this afternoon and do an AW post of him
