What's your favorite non-alcoholic beverage?

Besides soda.  I'm feeling blah about water lately, and I'm not big on soda except Hansen's and the occasional Coke Zero.  What do you all drink?  Iced tea?  Crystal Light type stuff?  Mineral water?  I need some ideas for my next trip to the grocery store.

Re: What's your favorite non-alcoholic beverage?

  • pineapple juice!  I can't get enough of it.  Lately when I've been craving something sweet I try to have a glass first to see if that satisfies my craving and most of the time it does.

  • Lemon or lime flavored Perrier (or other sparkling water), sugar-free grape kool aid, and crystal light fruit punch (not the HEB store brand)
  • sugar free hot chocolate.  I also enjoy virgin bloody mary's.  There are a few non alcoholic mixes out there that are just yummy.

I also second the pineapple juice.

    Bobo says smile!!!!

  • I craved pineapple juice when I was pregnant.  Wink

I love a nice cold glass of iced tea (brewed a little on the strong side).  You could try iced green tea for a boost of antioxidants.

  • I love crystal light- my favorite is the peach tea

  • You'd have to read the Crystal Light packets, but there was one that isn't so bad for you.  (I'm allergic to sulfites and food coloring)  I loved putting 1/2 of a packet in water just to give it flavor.
  • grape flavored crystal light.  i ALWAYS have this in my fridge!! :)

  • There are beverages that don't contain alcohol? Huh, who knew...

Stick out tonguej/k.  I like the hansens diet sodas and i like ginger ale.  i like both mixed with juices too, like ginger ale+pom or hansen's kiwi strawberry+OJ.  YUM!

  • I'm kind of into sparking lemonade right now (I get it from whole foods - $3/bottle) - but I'm guessing you could make it yourself pretty easily.  (also great with red wine, in case you need a spritzer).

I'm also a big fan of spicy bloody mary mix / tomato juice.  I drink it every time I fly . . . no alcohol in it.

  • kool-aid because I'm 5 like that.  Specifically Soarin' Strawberry Lemonade :)

  • lately its been Kool-Aid. Cherry, sugar free. Yum. That has become my water.

  • Non alcoholic and water and Diet Coke are out.... Hmmm ... I think that's all I drink ...

OH! Emergen-C. I like that when I'm hungover Smile Especially the Cranberry Pomagranite flavor.

  • 100% juice or Simply Lemonade watered down a bit or Vitamin Water.

  • I love LaCroix sparkling water. Zero calories, no artificial anything. Yummy.
  • if you want to DIY, smitten kitchen has some fun drinks on her website.  I can vouch for the watermelon lemonade and the lemon mint granita (for some reason it's listed under fruit and not drinks), but both scream summer drinks to me.

Simply Lemonde is AWESOME.  But I agree you need to water it down, I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that.

  • We drink a lot of La Croix waters (I like Berry, DH likes "pamplemousse" - how fancy!). We have also been into Crystal Light lemonade lately since DH can't drink any regular juice b/c of the sugar. He used to LOVE Simply Lemonade watered down, pre-Diabeetus.

  • lately it's been pink lemonade :)

ETA: sweet leaf - mint and honey

  • have you tried cherry coke zero?! i'm sooo hooked!

otherwise, i usually drink grape G2 (the light gatorade), or tea. oh or sometimes raspberry lemonade (i water it down a little for fewer calories)

  • Lipton Green Tea: Iced Tea Mix (1 lb 9.5 oz) * Large Canister Size
    I love this stuff!

  • I love love sparkling water.  Especially Perrier flavored with lemon.  If I could drink it all of the time, I would.
  • I like the flavor of the Crystal light packets, but I don't like artificial sweeteners so I stopped using them.  Here are my current non-water faves:

Cold-  Pineapple juice, Odwalla carrot juice, Knudson Black Cherry juice, Santa Cruz lemonade (not very sweet- doesn't need to be watered down,) Dublin DP, iced tea

    Hot- Bigelow Green Chai tea

  • Coffee? All I drink is water or coke. I don't like the taste of artificial sweeteners so that rules out a lot of drinks. I do like Agua Mineral (a Mexican mineral water) with lime and salt. I was addicted to the stuff when I was pregnant.
  • The hubs & I are big fans of the Arnold Palmer.  We almost always have a pitcher of iced tea & lemonade in the fridge.

I had no idea there was an actual name for this.  In Laredo aka Little Mexico we call it half and half.  Seriously, drive through ANY drive through in Laredo and ask for mitad y mitad you get iced tea and lemonade.
