Hey lovely ladies! Just wanted to in and say good morning. DH and I got back from our trip (New Orleans and Atlanta) last Friday, and have been crazy busy playing catch-up ever since. I have piles of things stacked up at work, so I need to be diligent this week, but I miss you all.
Any big anniversary plans brewing yet? Can you believe it's already February 2010?

Re: Happy Groundhog's Day!
Ive been wondering how your trip went! So! how was it?
I definently can not believe its already Feb 2010, the year flew by! We are going to Tampa for the wknd, and going to the FLA aquarium! What are ya'll doing for your anni this wknd?
How was your trip???
Our anniversary plans are still brewing....we are not sure what we want to do yet, just spend time together!
No, I can't believe it!!! The year has gone by fasater than I could ever have imagined. Since out anniversary is on a Sunday we may do a nice brunch somewhere. It will be low-key, local and with baby in tow!
Canon 50D, Canon 50mm f/1.4, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, Speedlite 430EX II
Yes, as our anniversarys will mostly all fall on a Sunday, low-key will probably be our plan too. However - Jena - FL sounds wonderful about now!
Our trip was awesome! Because we're farmers, we toured a lot of the large grain export facilities in New Orleans on the river. We stayed right on Bourbon Street and enjoyed the nightlife, raw and cooked oysters and general craziness in the city following the New Orleans Saints win (over the Minnesota Vikings no less) for a spot in the Super Bowl. We got a LOT of grief for being Vikings fans.
Atlanta was also a great city, and I enjoyed a beautiful morning run through the Olympic park. (DH and I decided a solo early morning run in New Orleans may not be super safe, but in Atlanta I had time for a daylight run:)
Thanks for asking! I can always count on you ladies for boosting my spirits for the day.
Glad that your trip went well. I am sure you enjoyed the warm(er) weather. It has been especially cold in my neck of the woods for the past week or so, I would love a little defrosting.
Our little trip this weekend was our big anniversary celebration, but we might do dinner or something on our actual anniversary. I did take the weekend off from work, just in case. We'll see what actually ends up happening.
No I can not believe it is already February 2010! It seems like just yesterday we were planning our weddings. DH and I do not have plans for our anniversary because he will be at work. He actually goes back tomorrow morning and will not be home until the 26th. So tonight I am making dinner and we are going to share our cake. He has made hints about doing something when he gets home so I guess I will have to wait and see what he has planned.
