Weight Watchers on-line?

Right now you can get a free 7 day trial for Weight Watchers on-line.  A few years ago I joined Weight Watchers and had some success so now I'm thinking about trying the on-line option.  Has anyone used Weight Watchers on-line?  If you have (or even if you've thought about it) what are your thoughts on the program?

  • I haven't personally tried it but one of my sisters has.  She lost a ton of weight with Weight Watchers a number of years ago and wanted to go back to lose a little she had put back on (not nearly as much as she originally lost).  She opted for that because she's in medical school and her schedule wasn't flexible enough to allow her to go to meetings at a center consistently.  I think it is a good tool if you sorta know the drill.
  • I did it about 3 years ago for about 18 months, and LOVED it. I learned a lot about portion sizes, and that sort of thing. It was easy to use, and suited me well. I eventually left because I'm much more athletic now, and found that it no longer suited my needs. While I have a few to lose, I'm more concerned with building muscle and endurance, and counting points left me starving. The MOMENTUM plan is more about making healthy choices, but I don't like being told what I can eat.

    I DO recommend trying it, especially if you're new to weight loss, or just haven't had much success in the past. It was very motivating for me, and seeing the pounds drop off was very exciting. I just ran my course with it.
