I fvcked up my elbow pretty royally this morning. I was carrying the baby down the stairs and slipped off the last 5 steps. He was fine, just pissed off because he's not used to going down the steps in such a dramatic fashion. I checked him over and he was fine. One squawk and he was done complaining.
I, on the other hand, feel like I pinched a nerve in my left elbow. I can't even extend it.
This is what I get for not wearing winter socks and wearing cute socks instead. Cute socks are slippery.
****The PA at work thinks I pinched a nerve in my elbow so I made an appointment with DH?s orthopedist for tomorrow morning! Wish me luck!****

Re: I fell :( WITH UPDATE
Is it bad enough you think you have to go get it checked out?
I hope it gets better soon.
We have a portable x-ray at work and I'm wondering if I can scam one of the nurses into checking it out. Ibuprofen hasn't even taken the edge off.
OUch! You must have been so scared, and thank goodness Hunter was okay. See how it feels tomorrow, and if it still hrts please go get it looked at!
Well don't hold off on it too long, just in case it's something that needs assistance in being fixed! I fell a couple summers ago (the one before the wedding) and fvcked my knee up royally. I didn't get it checked out right away until MONTHS later and found out I crushed the right side of that knee cap in so now I can't kneel on that knee anymore.

Glad the squawker is fine!
Hope you are able to get it checked out very soon! I'm sure it's not feeling very lovely... Usually, if it's a chip, etc, those hurt more than if you did major stuff to it.
AHHHH. I'm so glad the baby is ok. I am terrified of carrying the baby on stairs for this reason. I make J do it.
Get it checked out. I hope it's just a pinch and it wears off.
Aack! I'm glad yyou were able to protect little Hunter!
Get that elbow checked out, lady, you don't want permanent damage when an x-ray is so nearby!
Uh Oh Rachel!! I hope your arm feels better and it's nothing too serious!
Glad you and the little man are pretty much OK!! keep us posted!
GL! Hope it's nothing major.
Yiiiiikes lady! be careful!
Glad little H wasnt hurt, I bet he was thinking what the $hit kind of dare devil move is mom pulling!
