How can you share ebooks with family&friends if one person owns a kindle and another person owns a ipod touch?
if you own a kindle can buy books from other website other than its amanzon?
Re: Ebook Sharing
1 - Apple has a Kindle application that they can download from Amazon for free.
I think the "sharing" rules of Kindles are quite strict. They may have to physically connect their ipod to your PC in order to download. You can't buy a book and email it to a bunch of people, for instance.
(I could be wrong on this one, but this is as I understand it.)
2 - You can upload lots of different electronic format onto your Kindle, by emailing it to your Kindle email address or connecting your Kindle to your PC.
Some formats will transfer for free and some Amazon charges to a surcharge to convert.
** I want to state again that I am not a Kindle expect; I've only had mine for a few months, so this is just what I understand it to be.
