Nervous When I submit our taxes
Well only when we get a refund. But I'm nervous that I messed up and we owe instead of getting a refund. I do them through H&R Block.com, and I answer the questions truthfully, but I'm always a little nervous.

Re: Nervous When I submit our taxes
They told me that it depends on how "hard" your taxes are to do but ours runs about $125.
My MIL would do them for free for us (she used to work for a CPA) but then she'd know how much we make and I'm just not quite there with her yet.
I also use a CPA. He charges us $50 but only because he is a close family friend. I really hope we get some $$$ back this year..
I always hear great stories about people getting a big check back I have never been that lucky. I have owned my house for 3 1/2 years and the biggest check i have gotten was $900.
So last year I used a new person (to see if my results would be different) and for the first time I had to pay the state $25 and I got back from federal $100..
I will this year go back to the CPA friend but hopefully with me being married this time i can get some of the benefits!!!
yeah, we did ours today too and it always makes me nervous. I'm always truthful, but still
We're getting a nice chunk this year since I'm not working and we have E
Dude, me too. How the heck do you guys get so much back?
Ok, sorry. Don't answer that. That's a personal question. I just never have gotten back more than ~$1000. Well, except last year when we got our homebuyers credit but if you took away the credit, it was still only about $1k. And I thought it would have been more since I got married but nope, still only $1k.
