I open my email today to find
THIS lovely article. Thanks mom. . .
Re: Thanks mom for this. .
"Awesome". I only saw the title and I'm already depressed.
Who writes these articles? We need something positive instead of this stupid depressing "facts"!
A: Your mom needs a junk punch for sending you that
B: I really don't think its entirely true. Its only one study. Women have been having babies in their 30s for millions of years. Yes, we all know that it goes down as we age, but there's also problems with having children too early - now its shown that the risk of SIDs increases in younger mothers (under 22, I think I saw) and the risk of having your child live under the poverty line is huge the younger you are.
C: I hope your butt gets KU soon
TTC #1 13 cycles, CP 6/09, TTC #2 1 cycle
CDing, EP'd for 13 months for #1, BFing for #2
Pregnancy Hypertension - inductions at 39w, I grow big babies: DD was 9 pounds 1 ounce 22 inches, DS was 11 pounds even 22 inches - both vaginal deliveries
Who is the actress who is preg at 45 or 49?... Yeah... I would stay positive with TTC!
I know when I considered being an egg donor and found out I had 'old' eggs, I was none too thrilled. But there are people in their 50-60's having babies! +
T&P for a BFP!
Oh geez. Sorry your mom sent you that article.
Ugh, not cool
Rachel, thanks for all of this. You're awesome.
WTH!
Who sends an article like that to a person who is TTC! Seriously. Thats mean.
Oooowwww. My stomache just started hurting all over again.
Can I give your Mom a healthy dose of STFU please? I'm guessing she doesn't know you are struggling?
BIIIIIG hugs my dear. I know that had to be hard. Hell, it's hard for me to read and it wasn't from my mom.
Ugh. Tell your mom to put a sock in it. I got pregnant twice this year and I'm 30.
No she doesn't. I don't really tell her about the "details" only that we are trying and the she will have a grandbaby "soon".
