In need of nestie dust, T&Ps, all of the above
So we were going to try and rent in Lafayette. Apparently between the price we're willing to pay and the fact we have a husky....we're now looking at the possibility of buying a house. We weren't going to do this for another year or so. Any thoughts, prayers, pixie dust, etc would be greatly appreciated. I think my hubby might pull all his hair out before I get down there!
Re: In need of nestie dust, T&Ps, all of the above
Ooh, good luck! Being a homeowner is great. Like MrsSpell said, fairly stressful but totally worth it in the end.
Any particular areas you're looking at in Lafayette?
Well, he's working at Regional Medical Center and has family in Youngsville. But we aren't really picky and not really sure of the areas. Any suggestions are welcome! Btw Shoe, thanks for the doc suggestion.
No problem! Who'd you go with? If you don't mind me asking.
Youngsville is a nice area. So is Broussard and Scott. But they will all be a little bit of a drive for him. A realtor will be able to help you more than I can as far as neighborhoods go.
Monique Monteihl, she's the female doctor in the practice.
Nikki,
As soon as I hear from DH about the status of what we're looking for, I'll let you know. Apparently they're having some inspection at the hospital and it's his 3 day there!
