I"m pretty sure that's the law here as well...one of the reason surrogate rules get icky.
If I cheat on the Mr. and we both know it, he's still the parent of record at the hospital. Those are the rules.

I've heard this rule and do think it's dumb.
I'm more bug-eyed at the super judgmental response about having a baby out of wedlock and "moving on while you're still married" and what not. Like you should have to wait 2 years for freaking paperwork before you resume your life.
