Macbook ?
DH and I are in need to new laptops and we're debating on whether to go with Dell (that's what we currently have, haven't had any problems) or the Macbook. DH's main concern is the size of the screen of the Macbook. Does anyone have a macbook and is the screen size an issue? I think I would be okay with it, but DH is hesitant. (and he would prefer a Macbook Pro, but that's out of the price range)
I asked him if it was b/c he is getting old and needs things bigger for reading, but apparently that's not he case. 
Thoughts?

we do, I have no problems and DH loves it (but we do have a bigger imac to supplement)
it's been perfect, my only complaint is battery life (we replaced the battery twice in my macbook pro (6 years and still going strong) and i think at least once in his macbook- i think around year 3) but the systems run excellent
my first iBook was a 13" and i had no issues with it and i was on that thing day and night.
are the refurb'ed pros out of the price range too?
I'm not sure. DH has been looking at them a lot more than I have (he emails me practically everyday), but I'll have to ask him about the refurbed ones. Our Dells are refurb and stratch-and-dent and we've been pretty please with them. Is there something on the Apple site about refurbished ones?
We're having to get two, basically at the same time, so we're trying to keep each laptop fairly inexpensive, well as inexpensive as you can be for a laptop. And they are basically for personal use. DH has his own laptop through work so we don't need anything with so many bells and whistles.
Just found the refurbed stuff on Apple... I'll have to send it to DH.
