you know what! i am so pissed at her right now i won't even return her texts or calls. i'm off work this week following surgery last week, and she's been pretty good about not contacting me about work related stuff, which of course is great.
yesterday, she called me on the way to meet a guy her friend has been wanting to fix her up with for awhile. he's a plastic surgeon and was doing a speaking engagement, so they went and she needed me to give her a "pep talk" about how she wasn't ugly and boost her confidence before meeting him. i was in the middle of a tire store getting my tire filled, and there were a few customers around, but i obliged, because, well hey, that's what i do. she called last night to let me know that it went pretty well and she was calling him today.
today, i went and got a new haircut. i was feeling kinda frumpy since surgery and my hair was feeling heavy. the cut is adorable!!! i am in love. i texted a pic to her, zach, and my friend who is a hairstylist. boss's response? "hi suz!"
to other people that sounds just a little weird. to me, it hurt my feelings. there used to be a girl who worked with us named susan, who often came to work looking really rough, makeup from the day before under her eyes, and her hair barely brushed. just not very professional. she calls me susan when she thinks my hair is not "combed" or my makeup is not in top shape.
i started crying. i just had major surgery a week ago, and i didn't have makeup on. but i was in shock..... so so so hurt. if i made any negative comment about her appearance, she would freak out on me!
thank goodness she's up for a promotion that would move her to vegas. i am SO tired of the way she treats me. and i will not be sharing anything with her again. nothing.

I can't believe your boss comments on how you look. She would have an issue with me everyday with no makeup and hair in a ponytail (usually still wet).
She's a jerk. I hope she gets moved to Vegas ASAP.

But last week this girl came in a with a new haircut, I told her it was cute (She cut her bangs ).
When I looked at her, I was like gah lee she reminds me of someone, I passed by her desk and as I was going up the escalator I said outloud to myself Amber !!!! (Teen Mom).
So I hopped right on the down escalator and told her " I got it ! I know who you look like.... Amber from Teen Mom "

She can kiss my ass too. How ridiculous. She needed a pep talk to make herself feel better and then the next day made a negative comment on your haircut. Methinks she has really low self-esteem and took it out on you. She's pathetic. While I want her to leave your office too, I don't think she's deserving of a promotion. So, I hope she just leaves. She's an awful, hateful person. Next time she calls for a self esteem pep talk tell her she was looking a little Suz-y the other day and she might want to take care of that before she goes out.
PS, I got so wrapped up in ranting about your boss I forgot to mention that your hair is SO CUTE. Love it. It looks great on you!
