Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

My mom is back in the hospital :(
When she was last in (Oct/Nov) she was in for about 25 days after a heart attack and, by the time they released her, they had diagnosed her with congestive heart failure. Not, if you can believe it, as scary as it sounds. But since her release, she's been gradually getting better. Then the last week of so, she's rapidly been getting really bad (short of breath, a bad wheeze, tiredness). Yesterday my dad called my sis at work and asked her if she had spoken to mom. He said she wasn't feeling well when he left the house that morning and he hadn't been able to reach her. My sis called a few times and, when my mom didn't call her back, she went to the house. My mom was in bed, hardly friggin' breathing! My mom refused 911 (old school "I don't want to be a bother" mentality) so my sis took her to emerg. Turns out she has a blood clot in her lung and another in her leg. Scary stuff. They plan to keep her there until they can break up the clots. Brutal. STRESS!
