Northies! Feb GTG Location?
Any ideas/input for where to hold the February GTG in the North Austin/Arboretum area?

Is TGI Fridays still open? I think it closed...
Anyone been to the new restaurant that opened across the street to Fridays? It's on the end cap of the Arboretum shopping center. I can't remember the name but it just a female name...starts with an M I think.
Huh, I dunno. We were at Kenobi last month and there seemed to be lots of people there.
I'm not sure either but the last few times I've driven by, it's dark and no cars in the parking lot. Maybe they are remodeling or something?
Have you been to Kenobi on Monday nights? They have a ONE dollar menu. Pretty good stuff for being super cheap!
I'd love to finally be able to attend one of the Northie GTGs! TGIFridays is closed, but nothing has opened in its place yet. I can't remember the name of the new place either, in the corner, but it looks fun. Are the GTG's more like happy hour GTGs, or just dinner/lunch type things?
Rosie - I was actually thinking just the other day that sushi would be a great idea! Although, I don't really have any recs since I've only been to a couple of places. But, I think Kona has a pretty good happy hour as well.
Cristina - The northie GTGs are usually at 5:30 and we either have drinks, sometimes dinner if we feel like it. Hope you can make it!
Kona does have a good happy hour but it can get pretty packed. I probably shouldn't push any one idea too much since I can never seem to make them these days
, but when DH and I went to Kenobi for a special dinner I thought the bar area would be a good spot for a happy hour GTG. I had sushi for dinner and it was awesome. They have non-sushi apps as well.
