Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Random work vent re: computer security policy
At work they have this policy & system in place where cookies cannot be stored on your computer.
Totally understand. Fine.
But once in a while, like just now, I'm trying to log into the work system, and it tells me I can't access the page because cookies must be enabled in order for me to access it.
Some of the things they do here (systems related) are great, fine, even-if-I-don't-like-them (like not being able to access Facebook, LOL) but are understandable.
Other things are so stupid.
Like telling us we should back our harddrives up on disks, then removing the write ability from our laptops. Uh, duh?
Stuff like that just drive me nuts.
Good thing I'm leaving
