DH really wanted a quesadilla maker...I thought it was pointless but I thought it could be fun so we added it. It was the only thing on our registry that was more a "fun" but probably will never use item. Tonight was the first night we used it and it was such a mess! The quesadillas were good, but they tasted just like tacos that we make (and are much easier to make). At least we tried it....now we have to figure out if it is worth keeping or donating to the goodwill!
Just the thought of cleaning it makes me cringe....

Yes, the skillet is the only way. I've never understood the need for these contraptions. Oh, and use corn tortillas, not flour. Flour is guacala for quesadillas in this Mexican's opinion
