I have been on it for two years. But I just recently got married and have started using it as a means of birth control. My periods wer horrible and long story short i went on BC to regulate my periods and I could not remember to take the pill to save my life.
If I put my new ring in on Jan 27, what day do I take it out?
I feel so stupid you think i would know this. Thanks
Re: NuvaRing Question...
Read your information that came with the NuvaRings. If you have been on it for two years, then when would you normally change it?
I believe you keep it in for four weeks at a time.
Follow the prescription given by your physician.
In most cases you put the ring in for 3 weeks, and remove it for 1 week. As birth control it is effective for 4 weeks should you forget to take it out.
How were you using it before? 3 weeks in 1 week out?
Just because you were using it for the purpose of regulating periods doesn't mean that it didn't have reproduction controlling effects. It's still birth control even though your intended purpose was menstrual regulation.
