I went to see her yesterday and came back today. My mom and her sisters decided to stop treatment. They were starting the morphine when I left. Sucks but I have to go to work and there was nothing left to do but sit and wait. Shouldn't take more than a few days. Thanks again for the vibes and T&Ps. You are an amazing group of supportive women even though most of us have never met. I appreciate you and it's healing for me to type about it and come to terms with reality. I spent more time with her in the past year than I have in my adult life. She was in Maryland when I first got engaged, helped pick my wedding dress, came down for my shower and even my bachlorette party. She came to the wedding and had an amazing time and stayed for our AHR. My cousin took me back to the hospital last night and she asked "Jenni, you got any money?". I thought she meant for a soda or something and said "Why, do you want something?". And she responded that she wanted us to go back to Jamaica. Although, I'm very upset, I thankful for the past year and that I made it to New York in time to say good bye. One day later would have been too late. It's been a rough couple of months, thanks for being here.
