I must have missed some info . . . the last I heard I thought you were told not to worry and this was all nothing?

I got all excited b/c the surgeon wouldn't operate. After talking to my PCP, the issue is really that the surgeon wants a specialist to tell him to take the node out, not my PCP. While the node in my neck is enlarged, and there are multiple enlarged nodes all over my lymph system, the surgeon didn't think it was big enough for concern, BUT I still need to see an oncologist to rule it out completely.
Where we stand now - CT showed multiple enlarged nodes, there is one the size of a marble in my neck that has been there for a while - my white blood cell count is elevated - liver enzymes are back to normal - I still have pitting edema in my hands and legs/feet. It could be some weird systemic infection, it could be lymphoma, and it could be anything in between. We just don't know.
I am going to the big cancer center in Hays, KS next Tuesday. Redneck's out of town all next week for training. My mother is coming out Monday night so she will be here for the girls if I get stuck in Hays for whatever reason. And we were given 30 days to find a new house as of yesterday, so I'm freaking out just a bit. It couldn't have come at a worse time.
