Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

MIL is killing me!
I know she's not doing it on purpose, but GRR!!
It's her birthday Sunday, so since it's the superbowl we're having dinner at their house on Friday night. I had told her weeks ago (right when the Saints won) that I'd make a gumbo for the game. So she tells DH a couple of days ago that I shouldn't make gumbo because she's making it for her birthday. OK she doesn't even make real gumbo, she doesn't use okra. She makes what I'd call chicken stew. Sorry lady, but I'm making my gumbo, others are looking forward to it!
Then yesterday she came over to sit with Elise while I went to the doctor. I told her that I'm so excited because I'm making Mississippi Mud pie for the game. She says "well you can't make that, I'm making Chocolate Ooey and it's the same thing". Are you freaking kidding me??
I told DH yesterday "your mom is killing me with this birthday!!" and he laughed and said screw her, make your mississippi mud pie for the game!
It's just mega-annoying.
