Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

ABQ girls- know anyone who wants to volunteer?
Disclaimer: I am shamelessly soliciting for volunteers for my organization, but since I know some of you, I feel like it's ok 
I work for a non profit organization called Citizen Schools, which is an academic afterschool/mentoring program for middle school kids. One aspect of our program is our apprenticeships, where volunteers from the community come in and teach what they know or love to the kids.
It's a 12 week program, once a week for volunteers, starting in February. They can teach what they do for a living such as engineering, accounting, etc or what they love to do, such as photography, art, etc. Our staff provides all training and support, so all the volunteer needs is passion and dedication!
Anyway, since I am new to ABQ and building my network still, I thought I'd ask you girls if you knew anyone who would be interested in doing this- or any brilliant ideas of where I could find some volunteers! We have been attending community events and talking with some of the bigger companies out here, but still need quite a few more volunteers!
