Ok. Seriously. How do you PIP?
I tried the image box. I tried hand coding it. I tried getting a tinyurl for the image. And still my hot man is not represented. What gives?
Re: Ok. Seriously. How do you PIP?
No, good question. And yes, it's on line. I'm hosting it here on picasa.
~~~I took it out. No need for a floating man. Never had that happen before.
Using the image box should work if you are putting a URL in the image URL box. That is of course if you're on a PC. I understand macs have issues.
How weird, its cut off. I don't know why.
But I bring up a picture in google images. Right click, copy. Paste into post. You can resize the image by dragging the little box on the corners.
I hope that's been working and I haven't been posting little red x's all over
Ali-1411, I see him, but he's not in the post. He's at the top of the page. Over the header and everything.
Leigha, I'm on a mac, so maybe that explains things. I'm also willing to agree with AustinMimi, the nest is quirky as hell.
THANK YOU! It worked. So apparently the link that picasa provides doesn't actually work with the Nest? On other sites, I've been able to cut from that. Oh well. Next time I'll follow your directions. Thank you so much.
Yeah, I've always wondered why people on macs say they can't do PIP or make links clicky because I can do that just fine. Not on the iPhone but on my mac at work and on my mac at home I have no issues. I'm using Firefox but maybe some of you are using Safari? Safari has gotten better in the past year, but I still feel like Firefox is better and more reliable.
I'm using Firefox on my mac and have no problems with links. I expected to not have a problem with images, but I suspect it's a more a problem with the image hosting site and the Nest protocol than anything else.
yeah, safari is not really my friend. let me know if you want codes and whatnot, although sometimes those don't even work.
[and I'm really irritated I can't use emocons - I'm not about to memorize all of them!]
instead of for a link, use [img] - hopefully this makes sense.
i.e. [*img] blahblahblah [/*img] (take out spaces and *)
