CLT ladies- unique shops for baby gift???
First, I'll say I'm glad to see the board alive! Haven't checked in here in a week or so.
Second, I need some suggestions of where to go in the CLT area to get baby gift, and any ideas of what to get as well. We are going to Charleston this weekend and I get to meet my good friend's baby! So, not a shower gift, but something for him. I'd rather not do clothing. Are there any cute boutiques or anything? I feel kind of clueless.

There is a little monogramming shop in SP called Alphabet soup. You can get lovies there and have his name embroidered on it. There's another boutique in the same shopping center (Where Destination Maternity is) that has some hoity-toity clothes as well as some other cute things. There is a toy store in Cotswold called Toys and Co. that is like a Mecca for all sorts of different toys and stuff.
That's all I can think of for now.
