Are you going to a party, hosting a party, or just watching at home? We're hosting two friends. We don't really like to do any more than that because it gets hard to focus on the game.
What food and drinks do you plan to have? I'm not sure about this yet... hence the poll to get ideas! We usually do some type of nachos, guacamole, etc. And beer, of course.
Do you watch for the game, commercials, or halftime show? All of the above, although the halftime show is a little less exciting to me. Also I don't have a strong rooting interest in either team this year (I am a Pats fan and MH is a Steelers fan so we have been spoiled for the last few years).
Which team are you rooting for? The Saints. I just don't like Peyton Manning.
Are you going to a party, hosting a party, or just watching at home? We're hosting a few friends. I didn't want to have a party at all and my H came home nad told me he invited friends. Talk about a surprise!!!!
What food and drinks do you plan to have? I'm doing buffallo chicken dip (it's amazing!), spanikopita and wings. Friends are bringing calzones, wontons and brownies!
Do you watch for the game, commercials, or halftime show? All of it. It's hard to get into the game when it's not my team (Eagles!) but it's never my team so I've gotten used to it! Also, I find Reggie Bush to be SOOOOO hot!
Which team are you rooting for? The Saints. It's a great story. Although, Peyton's commercials are hilarious, Reggie Bush is hot!
Are you going to a party, hosting a party, or just watching at home? We've been invited to my parents' and also to DH's boss who is a close friend of ours. I'd probably rather hang with my parents just so I can lounge in sweats. Nothing fits that great and I'm not ready to buy maternity stuff (yikes haha) We'll see though.
What food and drinks do you plan to have? Whatever is put in front of me. Though if we go to our friend's place I'll probably bring stuffed mushrooms.
Do you watch for the game, commercials, or halftime show? Mostly for the game but sometimes the commercials are fun too. I could care less about the half time show.
Which team are you rooting for? Definitely the Saints. I've loved them for years. I'm a huge Patriots fan but the Saints may have overtaken the Cowboys as my #2. Plus I can't stand the Colts and I hope they drive Peyton to the ground. It should be an awesome game!

J's fav are the Eagles too. They've really grown on me the past 8 years or so since watching them with him. Are you from Philly or do you like them for another reason?

... the owner is from this area and is friends w/my mom -- we go to the game once a year!
I have a soft spot for the Eagles - I lived outside Philly for 6 years when I was younger.
I really wanted to see a Chargers-Saints Super Bowl but those damn Colts ruined it

She said there will be assortment of other chips and dip and asked me to bring a dessert. I haven't decided what I'm going to make yet. Maybe cake balls.

Lucky you! I have never seen the Pats play at Gilette/Foxboro. The only NFL game I've been to was the Chargers/Pats playoff game a few years ago when the Pats literally stole the win. And I saw it in SD. We ran out of that stadium when it was over haha.

I think this year has been the year I am the most unenthused about the Superbowl...I can't even tell you who's playing...Saints vs who? haha It's probably because the Pats aren't in it...and who's doing the halftime show? (That's really the only reason I watch it unless the Pats are in it...I don't even care about the silly commercials anymore). I could just google all this. haha
Sunday is our family dinner night, so my parents will most likely be over anyway...who knows what we're having because H and I started a diet this week, so we can't have anything bad (we're off to the Bahamas at the end of the month, not that we expect to lose much in the next couple of weeks) and we're going to the UK at the end of May for a couple weeks...must resist temptation! I'm doing so good for me (my vice is sweets)...I want choccy so bad!!!

I'm from Philly. Acutally right outside the city. I lived there until I was 23 when I moved up here. I'm a die hard Eagles fan! Made H get direct TV for us so I can get Sunday Ticket and watch the games each week!
