I currently have a V6 AWD Toyota Venza and have been thinking about trading it in for a Lexus HS250h. I love my Venza but I want something greener.
Does anyone have one? Would you recommend it?
Re: Lexus HS250h?
I have a 250is, I know this is very different than the hybrid, but, for what it's worth I'm in love with mine. We go to the Kings automall dealership. They have excellent service and free drinks, candy, flat screens, a movie & workout room (hows that for justifying the additional expense!?)
Another aspect that I really like is that they always have a loaner car for you if you need it- even for something as simple as an oil change. With my long commute and busy schedule this comes in really handy. Our service guy there is Aaron and he is the best!
Sorry this doesn't answer your question...but if you don't go hybrid maybe the regular IS will do
My DH works for Toyota manufacturing (not a dealership) and he gets killer employee lease deals. That being said... I get a new Toyota or Lexus every year. I just turned in my Lexus RX450h for a Venza. I LOVE the Venza, I didn't like the 450h at all. Not only did I not like the interior as much (it wasn't as roomy as the Venza) but for the extra $$ you pay for the hybrid, I only got 23mpg and I drive 90% city which is where you are supposed to get the BEST mileage. So... I don't think it's all that much greener, and I definately couldn't justify the cost for the hybrid upgrade. I do have to agree with PP though on Lexus service....it's unbeatable! I had a 2008 Toyota Highlander before I got the Lexus Hybrid and the Highlander being a bigger SUV only averaged 2mpg less than the hybrid. Overall I was very disappointed in the hybrid, I thought I was going to see a much larger difference in my MPG than what I did.
