How many of you will be snowed in this weekend?

Re: Weekend plans

  • Yes (They don't have a raised hand icon)

Were going to brace the snow, and head into the city for the Auto Show, and then dinner to celebrate the hub's birthday.

  • I sorta wish we were... its going to rain here all day and maybe switch to snow late tonight.  We might get an inch or 2 but not much.  As much as I hate winter, I kinda like to have one good snow storm a year, plus then I could convince DH not to go to the basketball game tomorrow and we could just hang out all day.

  • We will be. We are supposed to get 10 inches, which is like a blizzard to us. It is raining now, so one that temp drops it is going to be helll. Luckily, DH is off work this weekend, so if I have to go in tomorrow he can take me.

  • i think the storm is supposed to just miss Rochester, whew!

I'm planning on having a low-key weekend. having a friend over tonight for drinks, then saturday organizing more stuff for the move (hopefully throwing some out too!), and finishing a book i'm reading. wow i sound like an old lady.

  • I'm with Megs. For once, the snow is missing upstate NY. Woohoo.
  • I think we're getting 4-6 inches here.  Fine by me. I love any chance to hibernate over the weekend, except I need to make a "french toast run" to feed us. Sunday I'm working overtime hours, and then finding a Super Bowl party to crash.

  • Were supposed to get hit w/ 14-20 inches of snow.  Beer

  • It's going to be 60 and sunny all weekend long in Austin Big Smile

  • Ummm...what's snow?

  • Mames, you can crash my Super Bowl party!!

No snow here (as if I even had to say it).  Tomorrow I'm making a day trip to my hometown to go to my SIL's baby shower (my nephew is due next month!!!). And then I drive back home Sunday morning to prepare for what was supposed to be 2 friends coming over which may have turned into a full blown SB party. Sigh.

We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • I haven't heard anything about snow here in Chicago.

Today I am going to the gym, and then we have no plans! I should meal plan & grocery shop, clean, etc., but I'd rather catch up on DVR and snuggle with DH.

Tomorrow I have class in the afternoon and then dinner/drinks with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday.

Sunday, maybe church? then possibly stopping by a Super Bowl party.

It's a pretty plan-free weekend which will be nice!

  • It's started to rain here, and there's a chance of snow but I doubt it. It's just going to be NASTY all weekend. Boo hiss. Our only plans are to go watch the game with my parents on Sunday. Otherwise I'm staying home and avoiding the weather.

  • No snow here, but we're supposed to get rain. This is the last full weekend with my husband at home for the next year (not 7 months, like I though!). It's very bittersweet, as you can imagine. Plus, we have houseguests until Sunday. Boo!

That sucks Chrissy -- make the most of it -- kick them out!

  • Oh Chrissy yuck, sounds like plans changed?  I agree with hawki!  Enjoy your time together though and good luck getting used to the adjustment.

As for me, no snow in NH which I'm bummed about.  I love, love, LOVE snow and we barely have any on the ground right now.  I'm jealous of everyone getting 2 feet!  Anyways, we're skiing tomorrow and then hosting a superbowl party on Sunday.

  • We're only getting 2-4 inches, so I'm happy about that. Tomorrow I get to take a 3 hour glucose test at 8am. Fun times...plus I have to fast for 12 hours before the test and won't be done until around 11am EST. Starve a pregnant woman...that's great! Other that that, nothing planned which will be nice.
