Hi, the other day your answered the post about the supplements you take and since then I have been curious about the " min mint mouth spray for magnesium to help my migraines". Can you tell me more about this product? I look at the website and read the info but I want a personal perspective on it. I suffer from migraines  approximately 3 days a month during one week (the week of my period) I am wondering if this product could help me?

Give me your thoughts if you have any? Thanks

Re: Daisygirl

  • Hi!! I went to a naturopath with a few concerns and one of them was migraines...i got them a few times a month like you but mine were totally unpredictable. I had read online that magnesium helped migraines, but my ND suggested it anyway. She said that it's better for it to be absorbed through the mouth than taken by a pill, hence why I use the mouth spray. For me, my doctor prescribed 10 sprays in the morning and 10 at night. The taste isn't the best, but I've gotten used to it. I've been taking it for about two months now and it's almost gone, so it's lasted quite a while! I've only had ONE migraine since I started taking it which is huge for me. When I do get migraines, I take maxalt, so I love that I haven't had to pump chemicals in my body as much with the maxalt :)

Let me know if you have any more questions...before starting it, though, I'd talk to your doctor and make sure it's okay for you!

  • Thanks for answering my questions! I really appreciate you insight. Migraines are terrible. I do have prescription meds but hate to use them unless I have to! I am definately going to bring this up to my doctor!

     Thank you!
