Hey,
I just read your post from the other day, and I wanted to respond to it, because I LOVE our neighborhood. We live off Slaughter and South 1st. It's called The Meadows at Double Creek. We built it last June when it was Newmark..now it's Scott Felder. They have such fantastic standards, and for a little bit more money, we got a ton more house than say 5 min further north. We looked initially at Taylor Estates, right off Dittmar and for the type of house and location (it was next to a crappy trailer park) we got waaayyy more 5 in futher south. My husband works on Lamar, about 5 min from downtown and I work in San Marcos, so commuting is a cinch. We get on Manchaca for anywhere we need to go that's North and just follow it up. Plus, you are close to SP Meadows
